Cask Marque

After the growth of cask ale sales in the UK during the 70ís and 80ís, the 90ís saw a reverse in this trend. Cask Marque research shows that quality was a key issue. To retain the traditional cask ale drinker, as well as attracting new younger drinkers, standards had to be raised.
Cask Marque works to improve the quality of cask ale at the point of dispense by awarding a nationally recognised and respected Marque to the licensee when quality standards have been met.
